LABOUR PARTY MOVE INTO CIVIL WAR!

The Labour Party's NEC has issued a formal ruling on whether Mr Burnham can put himself forward:

The Labour Party has blocked Andy Burnham from standing in the upcoming Gorton and Denton by-election, a bombshell move that is set to spark the most furious civil war within the party since the general election. The news broke after the party's National Executive Committee convened this morning for a make-or-break meeting to decide Mr Burnham's fate.

The meeting, which lasted just under an hour, saw the panel of Keir Starmer loyalists vote in favour of blocking Mr Burnham from applying for the Labour candidacy. Polls also suggest Reform could be a threat to the party's possession of the crucial frontline job in British politics.

The meeting, which lasted just under an hour, saw the panel of Keir Starmer loyalists vote in favour of blocking Mr Burnham from applying for the Labour candidacy.

Mr Burnham's dreams of returning to Westminster were crushed by a landslide vote of 8-1, as the NEC wielded Keir Starmer's authority to protect the Prime Minister.

Who in Gods name allowed this man loose:

A report highlights feedback from 660 heat‑pump owners, many of whom found that heat pumps were not cheaper to run than their previous gas boilers. The article states the data is “clear” that costs are higher, contradicting Miliband’s claims. A parliamentary investigation described a major home insulation scheme — linked to the overall UK Net Zero push — as having “failed at every level” and leaving tens of thousands of homes with defects.

Reports indicate Miliband is considering scrapping the 600,000 heat‑pump installations per year target,

One widely-cited investigation found that installing a heat pump in Miliband’s own home barely improved its energy rating, which critics seized on as proof that heat pumps don’t deliver major benefits for typical homes.

Several reports emphasize that the wider suite of energy policies — including zonal pricing and potential changes to subsidies — could increase household energy bills, fueling the feeling that Miliband’s green policies aren’t affordable.

Welsh Government poured millions after millions into Cardiff Airport - and its the worst performing Regional Airport in the UK! That's Labour & Plaid Cymru for you!!!

Why is it that Cardiff Airport is run so poorly: Cardiff Airport is seen as such a poor facility for Wales. Based on the evidence gathered, several consistent themes emerge: weak route choices, strong competition, financial instability, and limited long‑haul connectivity.

Multiple aviation analysts say Cardiff Airport simply doesn’t offer anything distinctive compared with nearby rivals. With Bristol Airport close by and offering many more low‑cost options, many Welsh passengers willingly travel there instead. Bristol Airport report that 20% of passengers are from Wales!

The Welsh Government bought Cardiff Airport in March 2013 for £52 million, And poured 181 million into it. In March 2021, the Welsh Government wrote off £42.6m in commercial loan debt and gave a £42.6m rescue package.

Cardiff has far fewer airlines and departures than comparable regional airports. For example, where Bristol offers 15+ airlines and 70 departures daily, Cardiff has roughly half the number of departures and just seven airlines. This leaves travellers with higher prices, fewer options, and inconvenient connections.

Cardiff is the only major UK airport to see a drop in passengers from 2022 to 2023, while all others grew. That decline coincided with the loss of Wizz Air services and other setbacks.

Cardiff Airport has required hundreds of millions in public funds to stay afloat since government purchase in 2013. Critics argue it’s become a “money pit,” failing to attract carriers or reach profitability despite repeated financial support.
Further investment proposals (around £205m–£206m) have sparked political controversy and concerns about transparency.
