Plaid Cymru use Independence as a an answer to the problems in Wales...they could not be more wrong!

Stand up the real Plaid Cymru
Plaids Independence Story
Plaid Cymru remains a Far left nationalist party, holding 13 of 60 Senedd seats and campaigning on social democracy and civic nationalism. Independence is central to its long-term vision, but the journey is framed as gradual, evidence-based, and rooted in public consent.
Its recent victory in Caerphilly was marred by the violence towards the Reform Party Candidate, and many Labour supporters have condemned the behaviour saying it was not carried out in their name! Hope Not Hate were drafted in along with thugs that permeates through the independence movement.
When you read the comments on Nation Cymru a site that is supported by Welsh Government financially, you get to realise why these attacks took place?
More to the point you start to get the fact that many of their supporters have no realisation of how Independence would effect Wales to its detriment and would make us poorer.
2007–2011: One Wales Coalition: Plaid Cymru entered a full coalition with Welsh Labour under the One Wales agreement.
Plaid held ministerial positions, including Deputy First Minister, and influenced policy on Welsh language, education, and infrastructure.
2016: Compact Agreement: After the 2016 Senedd election, Plaid and Labour agreed to a short-term “compact” deal to secure Labour’s minority government
2021–2024: Co-operation Agreement: Signed in December 2021, this three-year deal covered 46 policy areas, including free school meals, second homes, and Senedd reform. Plaid remained in opposition but appointed advisers to government offices and worked jointly on agreed policies. The agreement ended early in May 2024 after Plaid withdrew over concerns about donations to First Minister Vaughan Gething and ministerial controversies.
So, from 2007 until May 2024 Plaid had its hands on the levers of Government, so it cannot take away its part in the demise of Wales and where we are on the Economy, Education and Health!
Remember this in May's 2026 Senedd Elections.
Meet Emily Price - Self styled Journalist on Nation Cymru
Journalists are expected to verify claims, but structural challenges—legal risks, access barriers, financial constraints, and time pressure—often lead to allegations being published with limited evidence. Ethical journalism calls for transparency, context, and corrections, but the reality of modern media makes this difficult. This does not release them from 1. Telling the truth & 2. Being abusive?
Emily Price writes for Nation Cymru and you can see from the off that her target is Reform UK! Not a surprise since her paymasters are a conduit for the Far Left Plaid Cymru. Nation Cymru are financed by the Welsh Government and the Books Council for Wales. Her latest article is in regards to the behavior to the Female Members by obviously males...yet she has not mentioned the situation within the Senedd offices of Plaid Cymru, why?
She should look at some of the comments by posters on Nation Cymru and put that house in order!
Meet Jonathon Edwards - Wife beater and commentator on Nation Cymru
We have learned that he is presenting himself as the victim in all of this and this is why we are now seeking to set the record straight, and now contributes to Nation Cymru!
Jonathan Edwards was first elected as the Plaid Cymru MP for Carmarthen East and Dinefwr in 2010, being reelected in 2019 with a majority of 1,809. Edwards was arrested for assaulting his wife in May 2020 and received a police caution.
The Plaid Cymru National Executive (NEC) voted for him to return...sending a message that beating your wife is OK.
